Julie Nemmer, CPA

As vice president of accounting and financial services, Julie Nemmer, CPA, oversees financial operations for our clients and company. Since coming to 911 in 2009, Julie has been a trusted financial partner to all of the associations, finance committees, and board treasurers she has supported, providing exceptional financial guidance and analysis to ensure they are fully equipped to understand their performance and make data-driven decisions that drive growth.

Julie began her career as an audit manager in public accounting and has held roles as a finance manager, senior finance manager, and director of client accounting & financial management. Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance monitoring, Julie is adept at providing real-time financial projections and identifying cost-saving measures for clients.

A collaborative leader who believes in empowering others, Julie devotes time to mentoring both within and outside of 911. With her 911 team, she’s a hands-on mentor, guiding finance managers and assistants in providing high-quality and efficient service to clients. With the associations she supports, she is a trusted advisor who ensures treasurers and boards of directors are well versed on the financial performance of and opportunities for their associations.

Julie holds a BA in accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a certified public accountant (CPA).

Outside of 911, Julie enjoys spending time with family, camping, biking, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.
